Hearn Takes Charge Of World Snooker

Barry Hearn has won a majority vote to take control of the World Snooker.
Hearn saw off competition from John Davison who was also in the running for the post and now takes control for the next 15 years.
Hearn has promised an increase in prize money to £4.5 million and hopes to turn snooker around in a similar way to which he did with darts
